Now, if I may ask, what kind of lifestyle do you practice, and do you think they can in anywhere affect your health in the negative aspect? To effectively manage hypertension, it requires compliances of both the patient and the doctor to work together in other to achieve the desired result in pharmacology and non pharmacology interventions to prevent unwanted outcome. It can lead to severe health complications and increase the risk of heart disease, stroke and sometimes death.
Lifestyle adjustments are best ways to manage hypertension in the sense that there are habits you must let go and there are some you must inculcate. Hence, practice the following:
• Exercise Regularly: engage in walking, jogging, swimming, etc.
• Good Habit: reduce salt intake, eat more fruits and vegetables and less fatty foods.
• Watch your weight
• Stress reduction: this goes a long way in helping to release the arteries and the heart, meditate, do jogger, and always take warm baths practice.

Eliminate the bad habits such:
• Consuming alcohol
• Self-Medications

• If you smoke, quit smoking
